2020 Award Recipient

OCA Asian Pacific Islander American Advocates: Utah Chapter, was impressed with the energy, vision, and commitment of UMW's leaders to unite and provide resources to Utah's newer and ever-growing Micronesian communities, focusing on girls and women. "The Emerging Community of the Year" Award, recognizes the efforts of those who have activated an untapped section of the Asian Pacific Islander community, highlighting the diverse needs and experiences of our Pacific Island people, especially our girls and women.
